Terms and Conditions for CORE CULINARY DINING 

 

1. Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship beween Core Culinary Dining and the client for the provision of private chef services. By engaging in services, the Client agrees to abide by these Terms.

 

2. Services Provided

The Chef will provide the following services:

 

- Customized menu creation based on Client's preferences and dietary restrictions.

- Provisions shopping, preparation, and cooking of meals in Client’s home or venue.

- Clean-up of cooking area after meal preparation.

- Additional services such as event planning, catering for special occasions, etc.

 

3. Booking and Confirmation

- All bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance.

- A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit of 25% has been received and the Client has agreed to the terms within 24 hours of finalising the event. The full payment of quoted price must be received at least 5 days prior to the event and the invoice will be issued 7 days prior to the event.

- In the event of cancellations or changes, the Client must notify the Chef at least 7 days in advance to avoid a cancellation fee, where the total amount will be non-refundable to cover costs of travel, provisions and menu planning. If notified before the 7 days the 25% deposit will be refundable.

 

Pricing and Payment

- Fees will be based on the agreed-upon services, number of people, location, and special requests.

- A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is required upon booking.

- The remaining balance must be paid 5 days before the service date

- Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

- Additional charges may apply for extra services or last-minute requests.

 

Client Responsibilities

- The Client is responsible for providing the Chef with access to the venue, a clean and safe cooking environment, and any necessary kitchen equipment.

- The Client must disclose any food allergies, dietary restrictions, and preferences at least 7 days prior to the event.

- If the Client requests any significant changes to the menu after booking, additional charges may apply.

 

Dietary Restrictions and Allergies

- The Chef will make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences. However, the Client must provide clear and accurate information regarding any dietary needs before the event.

- The Chef is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues if the Client fails to inform of relevant dietary restrictions or allergies.

Guest Numbers / Event Changes

If your numbers change prior to the date please let us know as soon as possible.

If your numbers decrease within 7 days of the event, then please be aware there are no refunds of

funds already paid as ingredients will have already been purchased. 

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling

- If the Client cancels the service 7 days before the scheduled date, the deposit of 25% is refundable.

- If the Client cancels the service within 7 days of the scheduled date, the deposit is non-refundable.

- If the Chef needs to cancel or reschedule, the Client will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or rescheduled date.

 

Liability and Insurance

- The Chef will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and quality of food preparation, but the Chef is not responsible for any foodborne illness or health issues arising from food consumption, except in cases of negligence.

- The Chef is fully insured for public liability, but the Client is responsible for any damages to property or injury arising from the Client’s failure to provide a safe working environment.

 

Confidentiality

- The Chef agrees to respect the privacy of the Client and maintain confidentiality regarding any personal information, recipes, or event details shared.

- The Client agrees not to disclose the Chef’s recipes or methods to third parties without permission.

 

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performance under this Agreement if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or travel disruptions).

 

Agreement Modifications

These Terms and Conditions may be updated or modified at any time. The Client will be notified of any changes and will have the opportunity to review and agree to the new terms before continuing service.
